Bad Brains? I heard something that they had to change their name to Soul Brains. Not sure exactly.

Warped tour '09 U.K. Subs, Fear, Adolescents,

Nothing nice to say. Its a web comic but its definetly hilarious.

Generally anything else im kinda buzzed. Im just trying to get something going on this *** except Good Charolette and people not knowing what punk/ska is.

H.R. the lead singer for the Bad Brains refuses to say bad anymore and refers to the band as either the "Good Brains" or the "Soul Brains"

Rancid's new album is awesome. Let the Dominoes Fall.

For like 5$ more than just the CD I got a like box set things which had: the CD, acoustic version of the CD, 'Making of' DVD, 3 posters, and a set of guitar picks that said Rancid and had each band member on it. Good deal!

But its awesome. Such a great band.

Music is life. So live a fun one, listen to ska.

Honestly, I never really thought Rancid was as awesome a band as they're cracked up to be. I've heard a few tracks off of the new album, and to me, they sounded mediocre at best. Truthfully, I don't really think they've done anything stellar since the 90's. Subsequent albums have just sounded like rehashed (and not as good) versions of their old stuff. Just my opinion.

...although, I guess if I really sat back and thought about it, they did have some REALLY good songs in the 90's. When I first started listening to punk rock, there was this snobby attitude that was prevalent that said any band that anyone had heard of or were around for less than 5-10 years were sell-outs. If you listened to any of those bands (Rancid, NOFX, Strung Out, Propagandhi, etc.) you weren't really a punk rocker. You were a poser. So while I listened to the "acceptable" bands (DK, Minor Threat, Crass, Black Flag), I had to hide the fact that I also enjoyed some of the newer bands. As I've gotten older and wiser (and less concerned with what my friends think is cool), I've realized that not saying you like something is just as bad as pretending to like something you don't. I'm okay with saying I OWN ALL OF BAYSIDE'S RECORDS or RANCID HAD SOME GREAT EFFING SONGS BACK IN THE DAY. In fact, I think I even bought Let's Go when it came out. So I guess what I'm saying is, maybe I was being a little harsh when I said they're not as awesome a band as they're cracked up to be. They did some good ***.
