Can someone explain the difference between DRM music and non-DRM music (you get 10 of these for free upon purchasing a 1-month Zune pass) please? Thanks.
DRM= Digital Rights Management. It means the tracks are encrypted, and you need a license key to decrypt and play them- thus you cannot share them. It also means that the software can control what you do with them. For instance Zune Pass tracks cannot be burned to a CD.
