TIP FOR ZUNE CUSTOMER SERVI CE REPS
AS THE ZUNE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS ARE POORLY TRAINED/ILL INFORMED MY RECOMMENDATION TO THEM IF THEY WANT TO HAVE PRIDE IN DOING THEIR JOBS WELL IS TO READ SOME OF THE TIPS GIVEN HERE AND WIKI HOW. AFTER TALKING WITH TWO OF THEM (THE FIRST DISCONNECTED ME) TO NO AVAIL, THE TIP PROVIDED ELSEWHERE FOR RESTARTING THE FROZEN ZUNE WAS TO DOWNLOAD GAMES.  IT WORKED. THANKS WIKI HOW.

re: TIP FOR ZUNE CUSTOMER SERVI CE REPS
Not exactly the type of "tip" we'd like to see here... but I suppose you're entitled to your opinion.

Just FYI, the customer service reps don't read this forum either.

re: TIP FOR ZUNE CUSTOMER SERVI CE REPS
Despite my ranting about the CS reps, the tip I gave was something I found elsewhere and should be helpful to others in the same predicament as me.
Although it was a while ago when I found and subsequently related the tip, my zune 80 once again did the same thing yesterday....it froze on one artist/song. Essentially I could do nothing and the sound didn't work.  I suspect it's due to recharging the battery with the 110 plug.
The tip to go to settings on the computer and dowload games was the only thing I found effective for restarting the zune.  I could have just let the battery die after several hours then it would have restarted...I find that a poor option if I am near my computer to do the other method.
