re: Content not in Marketplace? but it is!

I recently received one of my 6 Zunes back from service. I was syncing tracks and a few hundred has vome back unavailable for no longer being on the Zune Marketplace. Upon searching the Zune Marketplace ... the albums and tracks are there! Examples:

Cake - Prolonging the Magic

Beth Prton - Pass in Time

Madonna - Hard Candy

I have gone through deleted the tracks from my collection and redownloaded ... wondering 1) is this related to the content issues from a couple months ago? that is ... were the tracks recently made available again as part of a fix and a redownload is required or 2) is it some other problem?

I am getting error C00D27E1. On redownloading Cake Prolionging the Magic, on sync the system still is saying not available - although I just downloaded it.

Are these ones you still have so you could run through the steps listed for the WMA purchase issue post?

Most of the time if you get a WMA rights error and it is still in the marketplace it could be there was a re-issue or a duplicate and one got removed and the other did not. You just happened to have the version that got removed. But going through that information will help greatly. We are forwarding all this information on to those who can fix this issue.

My best guess is that these are content reissues. I am still having problems with The Black Keys content and errors: some tracks from an album are available, others are not. songs I purchsed with points now the licenses has expired. I called customer service but they put me on hold for 30 minutes while the rep went and spoke to someone else. I tried to delete then redownload the tracks, but it I get the 12EB error.

Beth Orton got replaced, Pass In Time became Pass In Time: The Definitive Collection. Cake looks like there was a Parental Advisory version that was replaced as well.

Not sure on Madonna as I don't see any changes unless you had the Hard Candy [Special Edition].

I have been talking with the higher ups about these replacement issues as curently there is no mapping at all to say this removed content is now this live content and automatically updating the people that have that content, but it is something I believe needs to happen even if it was a pop up question stating you have this album that no longer exists, we show this album would you like to replace it?

Yes, that kind of warning seems like it would be natural if content changes.
