I have a lot of favorites but these are the ones I'm giving the most attention right now.

1-Rush

2-Rancid

3-Nirvana

4-Smashing Pumpkins

5- Public Image Ltd (way better than the Pistols, too bad Johnny wasn't able to break away from the 'Rotten' persona)

I couldn't agree more. I'm still blown away every time I listen to them. The way This Will Destroy You does post rock makes my brain melt. In a good way of course. Smile [:)]

And just so I don't feel too bad about derailing, I'll add Explosions In the Sky as an honorable mention.
