Setting up software with no connectivity

Is it possible to run the .exe program while not connected to the internet? The computer I want to set my Zune software up on is not connected to the internet (nor do I want it to be). I can install the software with no problem on another system but on this system that I would like to use I receive the 0X8000ffff error message.

You can, but not with the download on this site, which requires access to windows update. There is a complete installer (very big!) that you can use, from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=6136349f-2b32-4946-83b5-a09775531ef4&displaylang=en

Put it on a memory stick and copy it to that PC.
