Zune FM Transmitter Question

I just picked one of these up and I can't get it to work.  Any tips or tricks?  Also, can I play music off my zune or does it just play radio?

Thanks

re: Zune FM Transmitter Question
They generally connect to the aux port of the MP3 player (the headphone socket) so will play anything the player does.  If you can't get anything, make sure your radio is tuned to the right frequency (the frequency the FM transmitter is set to..)

re: Zune FM Transmitter Question

Thanks for the fast response.  I picked up the Zune Car Pack, so there is nothing to plug in per say.  It seems pretty easy to use.  Just set it to the station and the zune should play music off its harddrive?

Thanks.

Yup.  Just make sure both the transmitter and your car radio are set to the same frequency.

re: Zune FM Transmitter Question

Well it works in one of my cars and not the other one.  I have an 04 Buick and it works in this car and I have an 06 Chevy Van and it doesn't work in this one.

Thanks for the help.

re: Zune FM Transmitter Question
I have similar problem with mine.  In my case, it appears to be a problem of how far the radio antenna is from the tranmitter. It works in my Eclispse (with radio antenna in the windshield), but doesn't work in the Camaro (that has an exteral antenna in the rear of the car).  FM transmitter doesn't put out a strong enough signal to reach the back of the car. If I extend the control/transmitter toward the back seat, the sound starts to come in through the radio.
