Zune Software Taking Too Long to Play a Song
So my computer is old, but it's more than enough to run the Zune software properly. I'll list the specs before I tell you guys my problem.

1.55 GHz AMD Athlon XP 2000+
2GB RAM
About 3GB of unused HD

Now, I have about 75GB of music on a external hard drive connected to my PC. After syncing all of that music onto the Zune software I am having some issues. Whenever I first boot up the software it works just fine, the album art loads and I can scroll through my collection and pick whatever. However, when I want to listen to a new song the Zune takes literally 30 - 60 minutes to play it. I don't know why this is. On my laptop I had before (2GB RAM 1.9 GHz Pentium Dual Core) it never, ever did this. Could it be that the external HD is connected to a USB port that is not 2.0? Or my desktop has about 3GB of unused HD left (which I don't think should matter because I'm not using any of it while listening to music anyways). Any information would be greatly appreciated as this is insanely annoying. Thanks guys.

re: Zune Software Taking Too Long to Play a Song
I think the most likely probability is what you suggested...the USB port is slow.  It could be USB 2.0 and still be slow... that spec supports two speeds (full and hi.)  Full speed is 12MBits/second as I recall, vs. 400MBits/Sec for Hi-speed.  (And there is lots of overhead in USB data...so 12 or 400 MBits/second is the total rate, not the rate of the useful data...the song...  Also, on a laptop the ports are often hub ports...or shared among more than one USB device.)
