sync one song then stop
I seem to be experiencing some trouble syncing my 30gb zune.  It wasn't really ever a problem.  Just if i wanted to take what was on my zune and put it on my computer. but it's not syncing the newly downloaded content or anything.  I've had a zune pass for music and absolutely love it cuz i just recycle music in and out of my player.  but now it seems it only wants to sync one song at a time, and then freeze up at like 2%.  If anyone has anything that may assist me in this very annoying problem.  Thanks

There may be 2 or 3 things going on here...
1) recycle music on and off the zune.  If you delete something from your collection and want it back, you may have to go into the settings for your collection and click 'restore media previously removed from collection.'  Or, you may have to right click the track in your collection and select 'sync to zune.'
2) sync one song at a time...  Try rebooting your zune.  hold back and up on the device until it shuts down...it will then boot itself back up.  This might do it...but it's hard to know what is causing this problem.  There are other steps you can try if this doesn't do it...
3) freezes up.  try connecting your zune cable to a back, and not a front USB port if your PC is a desktop.  If it's a laptop, try another port.  You're trying to get away from hub ports...  This may also fix problem two, if two & three are happening together all the time.  In fact, a reboot might fix this one as well.

re: sync one song then stop
thanks for responding. the recycling i'm not sure that's the problem cuz i told it not to sync with my zune.  but will try that.  as for rebooting the thing, i've rebooted it, reset it, put it to sleep, both zune and computer. nothing answering the problem there. and i'm syncing with a laptop so i will try a different port.  i only use the one port for my zune but maybe the answer will be in trying the other ones.  Thanks again for the response, i'm hoping something will work

Hi I have a 30Gb as well i was having trouble syncing as never had any trouble b/4 so after searching and trying resetting even reformatting all that stuff they suggest i was reading about diff usb ports and if i had usb 2 which i do well anways to the point here , what i did and it works for me now was to , go to my device manager click on usb services scroll down to VIA USB Enhanced host controller  i performed a right click and disable it  then started up zune software plugged in my zune then dragged my music to my zune to sync  then it synced no problem  hope this works for you
