Zune Pass on restricted laptop

I didn't realize until after I signed up for the ZunePass that there is no way to download or listen to the music on a computer without the Zune Software. This is not a problem with my personal computer but I'm not able to install Zune Software on my work laptop due to our IT policy. Is there any way around this so that I can access my music when I'm traveling with just my work laptop?

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, you do need the Zune software to download and listen to music on the PC.  I'd recommend you speak to your IT administrator at work and see if you can get permission to download the software to your work computer.  If you cannot get permission, then I cannot think of another solution.  Of course, you'd always be able to access your music while away if you had previously sync'd your music from your PC to your device.

Permission may or may not solve the issue...  many corporate IT groups block windows update and go with WSUS instead, to give them time to test the updates before they (potentially) break some critical corporate application.

phaboman-  there is a complete installer that doesn't need windows update access here:  http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=6136349f-2b32-4946-83b5-a09775531ef4&displaylang=en
You may want to give this address to your IT admins...if they're willing to test it for you.

Thanks for your help, but looks like IT won't be cooperating. I actually don't own a Zune (yet), I'm testing out the Zune Pass to see if I like it before I get a Zune. I guess it becomes less of an issue after I get a Zune. Does anyone know if there are plans for a web-based interface to allow downloading or streaming?
