Invalid Purchase Information
Every time I try to Buy an album or whatnot, it gives me an error code saying Zune Service Returned Invalid Purchase Information.

Billing and everything is correct, and I have points to the account, also a Zune Pass (Free Trial, got it today)
Still the same message...

re: Invalid Purchase Information
Does it give you that message when you try to download anything through Zune Pass? Are you located in the US?

re: Invalid Purchase Information
I get the same response when I try to get anything, free or purchased.  I don't have a pass, but I ponied up a Grant for some points and no dice.  I'm stationed in Iraq right now, and the ISP I use gets bounced from the UK.  Please don't tell me that I get boned for not being in the states cuz that's some ol' horses#!t if that's the case.  I know of 2 other people that have this issue that are stationed here with me.

Unfortunately, that might be the case.

It's not a 'might'... it's guaranteed to be the problem.  The Marketplace has only launched in the U.S., and they only have rights to sell/rent/distribute content in the United States.  For other regions, different agreements will need to be made.

then why am i getting the same exact problem and im in the middle of the united states. this is not the problem its something else.

if i cancel out of zune enough times and try the download again, it eventually works......

*EDIT*  I have found that after you get this error, if you click on another song and then back on the one you tried to buy, it will still say "purchase" but when you click it, it will say download, and will have already charged you points.

re: Invalid Purchase Information
Prompted by the Zune software to post this message.  Have the Zune 80, running Vista SP2 and latest Zune software.  Was attempting to use a song credit to purchase track #2 - Bless the Lord, O My Soul from the album "Tenebrae - Vespers: All Night Vigil."  I guess I'll try to go in and out of the software and see if I can use the credit again.  BTW, same error message..."Zune service returned invalid purchase info."  Open to other suggestions.

re: Invalid Purchase Information

I'm getting the same error in Boulder, Colorado USA.  It deducted the download from my 10 credits for the month, and it seems to have given me an unprotected file, as it should have.  Under Properties, DRM, it says "Yes - permanent license (has sync rights, has burn rights)" so I think the error is that is invalid.  I have a Zune Pass.
