re: Marketplace picks

Honestly, something needs to be worked out with these picks. I don't know why, but zune always seems to be picking songs that I already have in my collection, just from different albums. Maybe the zune team should work on some sort of recognition of what you already have on your computer. I'm always looking for new music, and it bugs me that half of my picks are songs I already have.

I have to add on to this one.  The Zune picks function is pretty bad.  I can't figure out what it is using (my badges?). Even if that is the case, I keep getting the same picks , some of which were from artists I listened to from 2yrs ago-none of the picks I get are current selections.  I was hoping this would be better. I am really disappointed with this part of the Zune service...I am so sick of the same crappy artists picks over and over again.  It seems the software could use our current playlist instead of whatever the heck it is using or our download selections.

I also wish the zune wouldn't count songs we skip as played-i think that is messing this up somehow.  I keep skipping instead of deleting, but somehow the same artist will show up as recently played.
