Ultimate Jazz Recommendation

I think it's a really good list, but there is one addition I'd like to recommend, Marcus Miller in the bass section.  He's been around and playing with/producing records for a ton of people, plus his albums are great listening. 

Things are not as bad as they seem. They are worse than that. They are also better than that.

Wow...I noticed you have Julia Fordham as one of your plays...Awesome...I love her voice.  If you're  interested she has a new album called China Blue.  Also if you like her, check a vocalist called Janita. Smooth voice.  She has a couple of grooves called No Words and Angel Eyes.

Trumpet: Christian Scott (this kid is amazingly talented, from New Orleans)

Zune is AWESOME!!...since Nov 2006 Black30GB and Pink30GB (my wifes'!!!)
