error code: c1010005 (c00d2ee0) "can't access server"
when i try to play music in marketplace this error pops up and says "can't access the server. make sure that there are no firewalls or proxy servers blocking access to the zune service, then try again". i dont know why this happened it worked fine, one day i turn on my computer and this happens. i havent changed any settings on my computer. i have turned off all my firewalls (windows and my anti virus) and still says the same thing. i can still download the songs but it just wont let me listen to them. i dont understand why this happened all of a sudden. if you could give me suggestions on how to fix this would be much appreciated, i would like to utilize my zune subscription.

From: http://www.zuneboards.com/forums/zune-pass/38436-cant-play-c1010005-no-sync-rights.html This worked for me: ===== For XP ===== 1. Start -> Run 2. Type CMD and press enter 3. Enter these commands and press enter after each cd\windows\system32 regsvr32 wmnetmgr.dll 4. Type exit, and then press ENTER to close the Command Prompt window. ===== For Vista ===== 1. Click the start button. Type cmd into the Start Search box, right click cmd under Programs at then click Run as Administrator 2. Enter these commands and press enter after each cd\windows\system32 regsvr32 wmnetmgr.dll 3. Type exit, and then press ENTER to close the Command Prompt window.

Ditto! I too am having this same problem and have tried the fix (below), found in other forums/threads here. The fix isn't working for me. I'm running Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 1. Any assistance is appreciated...

Give the below a try.

Good Luck!

Bless you!!! didn't work the first time, figured out after typing CMD on vista you have to right click and "run as Administrator" but it worked that time!!! LOVE YOU!!!!
