saw john legend in concert at jazzfest last year.  that made me a fan.  his current live album is very good.  if you ever get the chance to make it to new orleans for that event do so.

Awwhhhh yeah Parliament-Funkadelics ... that's really taking me back.  They use to put on an unbelievable performance. Sir Nose up on stage in his diaper .. HA! ... George Clinton ... Bootsy Collins ... all of them use to be off the chain and I would always run to see their shows/concerts when they came to town.

Rick James also would put on a really good show.

Frankie Beverly & Maze

Smokey Robinson

Teddy Pendergrass (Teddy Bear)

But, it wasn't just the singing or the singers, their bands were just really good and it would be an all around jam session!  So when you went out to see them you got a true stella performance that was to be remembered.  Okay, enough of me going back in the day.

re: Favorite 'LIVE' Performer....

let's see for me it's

1) Beyonce

2) Chris Brown

3) Ciara

as you can tell by now.... I love people that can Preform...and not nessairly sing

then comes

4) Rhiahana and her umbrella-ella-ella-ae-ae-ae

5) Kanye West

6) Alica Keys

7) and lastly T.L.C. (before the passing of Left Eye)

now if any one of my friends call me randomly at anytime durring the day to tell me that they got tickets to any of those concerts.....I'm on my way to pick those badboys up before they hang up the phone!

re: Favorite 'LIVE' Performer....
I only had the opportunity to see Babyface live last august in SF, which was a very small venue at the most there were about 60- people, and i was sitting a few rows back from the front...
So, so far i consider that the be the best preformance, but i would love to see others like; Maxwell, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Goapele, Tamia, Ledisi, Bootsy Collins & Toni Braxton just to name some.

re: Favorite 'LIVE' Performer....

First and foremost Sade. That band is awesome. No smoke and mirrors in their show. Just a bunch of crazy talented musicians playing good music under excellent lighting. They tell stories with those lights. Sade's singing is basically flawless in their dvds. All live baby.

Second would be Janet. Come on the woman puts on a show like no other. The Velvet Rope Tour was bananas.

I also love watching Alicia Keys. She's my second favorite musician to watch. That stripped set she did for...(AOL?) I think it was is great. I had to put that on the Zune.

Itunes software fixed my Zune software library........nice.
