re: ps3 and format for zune to try

i love my zune and my ps3 but i am not sure if zune syncs with ps3. if so, how to sync it with ps3? also on ps3 there is a new format i really love on the ps3 that zune does not carry. its called a-track. and i can actually hear diff instruments and the voices better. was wondering if zune will get or accept that format to convert to mp3 soon? but i also did research on the format and only ps3 (sony) does this format and there mp3s. o, i got my ps3 going through a digital sound system. thx, for your help.

Atrac is an obsolete Sony format.  It's what I used to burn stuff to for my old Sony MP3 player.  They've stopped supporting it, although I'm sure a number of their products will still play it.   The format was OK, it was better than MP3.  However MP4 or WMA Pro will give you as good or better sound quality, imho.  

There's a software tool from Sony that will convert Atrac to MP3.  They released it when they stopped supporting Atrac.  You'd probably have to search sony support sites or google to find it.

You can't transfer anything to the Zune from the PS3 or vice versa.  About the only thing you could do is charge the Zune from the PS3. 

You can stream music/video from the Zune through a Xbox 360 (not sync), but that's about it. 

ya, but my 360 got fried. lol, i sent it in for repairs not to long ago. and i prob know the ans to this but... do you know if it go through all speakers in a sound system for 360? cause i had trouble with it only going through the front speakers. is it the settings?

why would microsoft do anything to help users of their competitors? it's like plugging your ps3 controller into your pc or your 360 controller into your ps3. 'device not found' or whatever. sure it would be great if everything was compatible but that's not how business works. long live ps3.
