OK, the KB says one thing but I have seen this work. I am at work, I used one of my Credits a few days ago to buy an MP3 song at home. I just logged into the software while at work and re-downloaded the exact song I bought and downloaded the other day... This is very confusing, can anyone clarify. I was going to buy a Zune for my girlfriend and use all of them on all three PCs but now it will be hard because if she buys a song before i do then the only way i can get the MP3 version is to hook hers up, copy it down to mine right?
Sorry for the delay, but you are correct, since there are no redownloads of MP3 content you'd have to get a phyisical copy of the song from your girlfriend if you and her were sharing the same Zune account and and she happened to purchase the track before you did. Now if you were sharing the same account and that account had Zune pass you both could download the song, without having to head over to her PC to get the DRM free song. Zune Pass the subscription service that lets you keep 10 free tracks per month. But, if you're into owning the music more so than renting it you may want to stick to making purchases and occasionally checking out your gf's collection.
