well well zune really needs an hardware update ,something that can compete the Ipod touch,im looking for an mp3 to replace my sh-i-t a## zune30 which crashes like 15 times a day,battery drains in 3 hours of music play,yes im outta wrantty,already replaced it once,due to all the issue that i had to go through i hvae decided i will not be getting a zune80 or zune120,thats outta the question, as much as tried to like it,it has really disappointed me,man i had to defend the bricks honor out in the public, no wonder why it didnt get released in europe, half-baked product was waiting to be sued in europe had it been launched, thanks to ms we've been the prototype market.
MS should make some info on new zune, surface before the end of march,or else i'll just abandon the zune bandwagon for good,Ive never bought a single apple product, though my brother has, however i think its time, i give ipods a try
every other mp3 player is coming out with new touchscreen players, cowon s9,Samsung P3,Sony x series,you name it, hell even cheap chinese knockoffs are putting a touchscreen on their mp4s,

first off zune-phone is quiet possible, and should be made possible,i tell you why, since winmo is a failing to capitalize the market,its market share is declining, damn LG needs to produce 50 winmo phones to compete against one mighty I-phone. remember how steve bummer was laughing at Iphone back in 2007,claiming it be far too expensive,just 2 years later its the hottest-selling phone among low-income consumers,literally people lined up for iphone launch, not once but twice, which winmo phone had that kinda charisma.yeah i thought so
making a zune phone is not like a bad idea considering,winmo is more office oriented, i think ms fails to realize that,having a zune-phone will be more like multimedia oriented and very simple for those not so tech savvy.No it shouldnt make ms abandon its winmo partners, i highly doubt that, im pretty sure mobile partners will abandon ms first, and will soon adapt Android os in near future,by that time it will be too litte, too late for ms,
social on the zune is a joke,the only thing social about it is how thousands of frustrated users socalize on this forum about "how to fix their crapped out zunes",
i mean ms zune came out first with all that "welcome to social" hype, now 2 years later Ipod touch has have capitalized in that area, apps ranging from myspace to facebook is an example.
the wifi feature, nobody ever talks about how zune aquired it before the great Ipod, why is that so, zune had wifi implemented from the very first player,today they are lagging behind in web-browsing capabilities and Online Radio(not that i want it,but some people would really like it) every one who i talk to says a wifi is a must, even the chicks are digging it,
Zune pass is hands down awesome, now it seems apple is catching up to that idea with an itunes pass, i know,its for the decphe mode thing, but it makes one wonder
for starters zune had a bigger screen size at the launch,only to be outdone by ipod touch later on,
My next gen zune requirements are as follows:
1- Touch-Screen with oled, yes oled will only get much cheaper with time,800x480 res or better,
2-web-browsing, app store, let the deve play around with a custom-firmware ability,should have a faster processor,Nvidia tegra maybe.
3- EQ, more codec support
4-should be more Stable, reliable and long lasting player
5-market it heavily on prime time tv channels,i read this guy suggested they shouldve bought an ad for superbowl,
6- should be relatively cheaper
7- xna is not gonna pull ms out in the games dept,they need an xbox portable for that, apple has shown how an mp3 player without buttons can improvise to play games.
all of it is possible, ms has the money, the resources and the experience.
And for the ms fanboys you need to stop d!ckriding and whining about touchscreens,you dont want it,fine, ms should make you one with smaller-screen size with buttons,and web browser lacking player, so that you lazy-retarded-D!cks can mingle around with the player in your jean pocket,
