zune problem full of frustration

I've had my zune for a year or two now. It's been a real good buy, until now.

I'm having a problem with the software, I imagine.
Whenever I open up zune on my computer, it shuts down my computer after a few minutes.

I don't know why. I don't know how to fix it.

I have deleted everything, in thought I may have downloaded an mp3 with a virus.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software.

I just put a few cds on it. Cds I actually own.

And it still won't work.

I don't know what to do.
Has anyone had this problem? If so, please tell me how to fix it.

Try lowering your display settings.
