my zune 2 4gb is totally dead after using for only 1 hour............. what shall i do ...
My 4gb Zune won't do anything it won't turn on, it won't charge and my computer doesn't recognize it ... i have bought it in us ...... and now i am in india...

Probably a flat battery.  Plug it back into your computer and let it charge for 3 hours.

it was fully charged ,,, it chashed while trying to play a mp3 song.........

hmm this is interesting because my zune 4GB wouldn't turn on yesterday. black screen & its fully charged. been trying all day, nothing works. like its dead. wonder if its related to whats been going on with the 30GB? checked if lock is stuck, its not. pressed left arrow button while pressing up, didn't work... someone help...

hold the back + down for about 5 seconds.  Then press the play button to see if it starts back up.

this happened to my 4gb zune also the day after 12/31!!!

i couldn't get mine to start working again. had to go get another one. good thing i had a product replacement plan from best buy. hope it doesn't happen again.

I have a 8gb and it is doing the same thing.  Not responding to any buttons, but this morning i pressed play and it turned on with no problem but was reading no battery left.  I tried to charge it in my car on the way to work, but it did not work.  I left it on a charger all day today, but it has not turned on again.

My Zune 16 GB has done the same thing. I've had it for around 2 weeks. I'll let it charge for a good couple of hours and we'll see what it does.
