MY ZUNE STILL DOESN'T WORK! PLEASE HELP!

ok, I have a 30 gig Zune that froze. I've followed all the advice and have called the Zune network twice. I've completely let my Zune die to the point where the battery screen that informs you that it's dead doesn't even show up anymore. I've tried to restart it numerous times and it won't even restart. It's still stuck on the loading screen and I don't know what to do. PLEASE HELP ME!

The best help I can honestly give you and I know it is unfortunate is to call Microsoft and have them send a replacement. If their methods did not work then customer support is the only way to go. Trust me Microsoft doesnt hate helping its consumers it just hates spending and giving away money but you bought the item so they will gladly help you out just try calling them.

I hope this helps out.
Sincerely,

Lord Jonathan Partlow

Goodbye Zune!
I couldn't get my Zune to work either.  I followed instructions, called, took the battery out and tried reconnecting about five times, etc.  The last time I tried disconnecting the battery, I bent some of the pins, so it won't reconnect.  Screw it.  I'  done with the Zune 30.  I was planning to buy a Zune 80 in a couple of months, but now, there's no way I'll ever buy a Zune again.

I wen't on the CompUSA website, and they're selling refurbed Samsa MP3 players with 8G, and I bought a memory card with an additional 8G.  That's 16G, which is enough to hold a reasonable amount of music.  It cost less than $100.  I'm sick of these greedy proprietary companies like MS and Crapple.  This whole software/hardware bug probabaly has everything to do with keeping the system locked up so that the user depends on the corporation for everything, including software.  I never used the stupid Zune Social, or bought anything with MS Points, so maybe this is mostly a good thing.

I will admit that I did like my Zune, and never had any real problems until now, but it's just the principle of this whole situation that bothers me.  I'm sick of Uncle Bill and Uncle Steve trying to take over the world.  My next move will be to switch to Linux.
