Well, I'm close to Microsoft HQ. Ok, not really, but within the same state.
I had a Creative Zen to start with MP3-wise (staying on topic), but the lithium wore out and I didn't want the hassle of sending in a (by technology standards) antiquated machine.
My stepdad gave me his Zune he wasn't much using, but I have had nothing but problems. Can't buy anything from Marketplace "An unknown error ocurred." LOL if you, the programmers, don't know what the error is, how the hell am I supposed to know?
Oh, but they were more than ABLE to take $5.44 from my credit card. I guess this is how they make money. They "sell" you points, give you points, but don't allow you to use them. I wish I could refer this company to the BBB, but I doubt that would make a difference.
A few months ago I cancelled my Netzero account, but kept getting charged. I would call and cancel but the techs would REFUSE to cancel it. They would say, "You won't be charged until ____ month, and if you are not satisfied, call and cancel again," knowing that one could easily forget. Well, I receive an email about a class action a few months later, with the hope of about $19 restitution. What I'm trying to say is that sometimes companies get what's coming to them. We all hope for a world of justice. I can't believe I lost $5.44 for absolutely no reason. It may not seem like much, but what do I owe the world's largest software company, me living check to check? Why do they get to take my money, for nothing? This is white-collar crime.
