Defective download from Zune Marketplace

I just purchased "More Human than Human" from White Zombie's "Astro Creep 2000 Songs Of Love, Destruction And Other Synthetic Delusions Of The Electric Head (Parental Advisory)" CD. There are several skips in the song, one most notably around 2:26 into it, but there are other smaller skips as well. By skip, I mean it sounds like when someone used to bump a record player and the needle would jump a groove.

I deleted the download then did a restore from the desktop player so it would redownload, thinking it may have been a download corruption issue, but it still exists, so it must be in the file on your server. The track skips on both the desktop player and device in the same place.

How can I get this resolved?

Yep, this is the correct forum. But I believe the Zune content management team won't be checking the forums again until after Thanksgiving. (Only a prediction, however.)

Anyone? This is nearly 2 weeks old now. Is this the kind of service I can expect with a Zune Pass or when buying additional songs?

Hey the same thing happened to me, I bought an older cd Toad the Wet Sprocket- P.S (A toad retrospective) just about every song in the ablum is warped or sikips around.

I hear you, it's not acceptable, hopefully someone will get on that soon.

Nevermind. I found it on Amazon.com. I love my Zune, but the customer service for Marketplace is the pits. I'll continue to spend my money with Amazon. Great job MS.

Greetings edhans,

I apologize that this was never answered. I am the content tester and it is now my job to get this issues fixed. I purchased both the explicit annd clean versions of More Human Than Human and the clean version definetely had audible skips. I will submit this to our music provider to get it resolved.

You should be able to get a credit for this song by contacting customer support and explaining the situation, then either purchase the explicit version, or wait about 1-2 weeks and it should be fixed. We are working to get this time improved, as that is a long time to wait.
