re: Random Syncing of Songs

Hi,

I'm having a syncing issue with the latest zune software and my Zune 80. Every time i plug the device in to my computer with the software open, the software automatically syncs about 50 songs from my library of thousands of songs; i haven't asked for these songs to sync with my zune and it is the same songs every time. I tried to delete them from the device, but it only deletes one of the copies and not the rest. And even though there are multiple copies of these same songs left on the device, they won't show up on the software display, making it impossible to delete any of the other copies.

Weird, no? Anyone else have this issue? Anyone know how i could solve it?

Any help would be appreciated.

I've about the same problem. It keeps deleting song from my zune without me telling it to. I had about 3600 songs and now Im down to 2300.

hey there, i got this problem myself, out of 11000 songs on my zune80, it decides to re-sync 2 (TWO!) hatebreed songs everytime. whats goin on here?

The world would be a much better place if the Zune worked with iTunes.

I'm having the same problem...along with the following: 

When I go to to play anything I downloaded from the marketplace, I get "the item is missing or can't be played" and then it proceeds to go display, one by one, all the songs after the one I want, in alpha order.

So, the songs are all in the zune (according to the "storage" section and my listings on the zune) but none of them will play.

I think what happens is that you have an empty  field in the metadata, (maybe Album Title, Artist, Album Artist) then when the zune software look at the files with empty fields and decide to add them to your library agan and again, you correct this by opening the metadata and fill any lost  information.
