what got you into country music?

c music fans. what song, singer, or album got you into country music? Or did you grow up listening to country music. just wondering Smile [:)]

Ex girlfriend got me hooked all well and good about 17 years back or so. I'm 33 now. Alabama and Clint Black were the early faves. Still a huge Alabama fan.

And with a mighty "Hi ho Silver!" it's off I go to fight for truth, justice, and the American way.

My best friend got me into country music and Brad Paisley and Kenny Chesney have alot of great songs. Taylor Swift is also great.

I grew up listening to Garth and ever since have followed and enjoyed country and it's changes.

Pop country got me into it, sometime in high school. I can't stand the vast majority of it these days, but I still have a soft spot for George Strait, Brad Paisley, Clint Black and a few others. I stick mostly to stuff like Lucero, Uncle Tupelo (and Son Volt and Wilco) and the ilk.
