Software won't recognize some of my music.
    i just added 6 albums withen the same folder under my music. the zune software recognizes 2 of these albums. they're all mp3's, and can all be played by the zune software, it just won't add them into the library.

any useful suggestions?

Do they all have similar song titles? The Zune software may think some of them are duplicates of the others. Change the song title metadata (right-click on the song in Explorer, select 'Properties' then 'Summary' to edit this) so they are all unique and see if that helps.

that wouldn't make sense, zune recognizes 6 seperate versions of "life burns", as well as several outright duplicates.

when i try to drag it in, it says

What format are the files? If you double-click on the files in explorer - do they play? Do they play in Zune or some other application?

they are .mp3 files.
when double clicked, they play in my default program. i can however right click them and tell them to play in zune.

This really sounds like a duplicate issue to me. Can you give me the following data about some of the files that won't add:

- Length

- Song Title

- Album Name

- Album Artist

- Folder location
