re: Zune Games

Does anyone know if and when games are going to be available to buy in the zune marketplace.

Zune games have still a long way to go. I believe they might be available sometime late fall 2008 or early spring 2009. This is still a speculation and nothing is concrete. In the meanwhile, if you want to download and play games try zuneboards.com or similar sites.

The catch with playing these downloaded games is the little "restart" issue. The games are awesome though.

  Zune games are here now.... you need to download the XNA studio then compile the games to the zune, and yes... it does a reset when you exit the game....

Yes, as i said, the games are here... But there is no sign of marketplace distribution in the near future. Although XNA studio (& MS C# 2008) is a workable solution right now, lets not forget that these tools are for game developers. Its not something to play around by average joe. The final version will not have the zune restart issue that we have right now.  Somewhere down the lane, I see that marketplace will be the primary source of game distribution and users will be able to sync games from the zune software itself.

There's gonna be a new and complete pokemon adventure game for the zune. I'm not sure about the release date, check Gotzune.com. Do a search on pokemon .
