Difference between 320x240 and 720x480 video on Zune?

I have a Zune 80, which is capable of 720x480 resolution video...however, the screen resolution is still 320x240. Would the higher resolution make a big difference in video quality in that case?

If you plan to watch your videos on your TV set, especially on those big screen HDTVs, 720x480 looks much better than 320x240. However, if you only watch videos on the small screen of your Zune 80, 320x240 is the way to go. (A higher resolution needs a higher average video bitrate, that means a larger file size.)
