Any synthpop fans out there?

Of course Depeche Mode is my favorite.
There's Soft Cell, Duran Duran, Kraftwerk, Crystal Castles, Erasure, Motion City Soundtrack...
The list goes on and on.

Yea I'll second that. Nothing like blasting Depeche Mode while coming to a stop light while everyone looks at you like your crazy.

I just downloaded that Crystal Castles stuff. eh can be a bit too much at times. But not too bad. Listenable.

Depeche Mode is my all time favorite along with New Order/Joy Division and The English Beat. I also LOVE Duran Duran, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, Tears for Fears, The Smiths/Morrissey, Yaz, OMD,  shall I go on???

I love Synthpop!!!!.I have been listening to it since 80's. My favorite artist/bands are:

Depeche Mode,New Order,Erasure,Omd,Dead or Alive,Camouflage,Red Flag,Pet Shop Boys,

Soft cell, and Yaz among many others.

 

what about The Sounds?

I wouldn't say The Sounds are much synth as much as they are new-wave really....They are great though! Truly misnoticed.

Yeah, synth pop is awesome, however from time to time I have to take a break from it (usually the whiny overtone and bleeps and blips and reverberated drum can wear you out sometimes) but some of my favorites include: ABC (Lexicon of Love is classic! Although I am sure they are more new wave than synth...) Soft Cell (Marc Almond was influenced by Scott Walker, which is A+ in my book!) OMD of course, Cabaret Voiltare, Japan (Glam synth...Can't go wrong!) .
