In Memory: George Carlin
The world lost a great comedian with the recent passing of George Carlin. Some of his material is available on Zune Marketplace so if you haven't had the chance to bask in his greatness, you should give some of his stuff a listen. I enjoyed all of his HBO specials and I just knew he had more in him that we haven't heard yet -- and unfortunately won't be able to hear.

So take this forum thread as a chance for you all to sound off about George Carlin! You still can't use the 7 dirty words around here (forum rules, haha), but feel free to offer your thoughts about Carlin and his brand of comedy.

 Carlin was an absolutely brilliant comedian. "7 Words You Can't Say on Televison" is just one of his great bits.

Saw his performance at Carnegie Hall yesterday and he was doing the expanded list of "Words You Can't Say on Television." I miss his brand of comedy. From stories to one liners, he really was brilliant...

We will all miss him dearly, but the impact he made on our lives will forever remain strong and his legend will live on through us.. his adoring fans.
