Syncing is causing multiple listings of the same podcast!!!

It just started happening since the last update of the software.  When the Zune syncs it duplicates some podcasts more than once.  I will have the same podcast show in the folder multiple times and now some videos have stopped working.  Is anyone else having this issue and how do I fix it?

You can try erasing everything from your zune, then resyncing everything back on. Under settings, go to device, then choose erase all contents.  This doesn't erase your library from your computer, but erases everything on your zune. Hope that helps, and good luck

I'm having the same problem.  While I appreciate the advice PG27, I'm hoping that something a little less time consuming is offered.  I'm gun shy to go through all this cuz of the major headaches I've goner through fixing, editing, etc. all my music to show up as it was meant to.  I hate to think that I would have to jump through those types of hoops again trying to fix a different problem.  Anyone with any other thoughts?

Erase all and re-sync will certainly fix it. But it will happen again and again.

check your settings to make sure you dont have it so it constantly keeps adding things everytime you plug it in

maybe make certain things manual add just and idea

It only happens with podcast and started after the update.

it happened to me a few times, i just deleted the duplicates from the zune.
doesn't happen all the time, not sure what triggers it, but it's managable.

But my problem is when the Zune is connected to my PC, the Zune software says it only has one copy of the podcast but on the actual Zune it shows 2 copies. Is there a way to delete stuff directly from the Zune without it connected to the PC?

I see I'm not the only one with this problem. As sad as it sounds this makes me feel a tad better knowing I'm not alone. It's quite annoying to be honest. I tried unsubscribing to each podcast and then subscribing again but that didn't help at all. Hopefully someone much smarter than me comes along and fixes or figures it out.
