Ska: With or Without Horns

Theres ska bands out there with and without horns. Both are amazing.

But in your opinion which do you prefer?

 

For me: I go both ways. Bands like Op IVy and Common Rider and Suicide Machines are really good without horns. But at the same time Big D and Streetlight Manifestos amazingly well written and performed horns are ridiculously good.


Music is life. So live a fun one, listen to ska.

I say it doesn't matter. Ska is Ska with our without horns.

I do listen to more bands that have horn players it just adds something more to the music you know? But some bands can pull off the lack of horns really well.

For me ska is ska. I do prefer horns though.

I don't really care, but I prefer horns since I myself play Trombone in Ska bands

I dont care either, but sometimes horns are a nice touch.
