To end a problem: YOU CAN PASTE ALBUM ART!
Right click where the album art should be, browse to where it is located.

Right-click menus.  They're a wonderful thing.

Can't believe no one has posted this yet.  I'm sick and tired of hearing about people complaining about not being able to do this.

Aggiejae, I think the complaint is that you cannot drag-and-drop an album cover to a whole album as before.

Well then people need to word their complaints correctly.

Anyways, is it really that bad that you have to click 2 more times?

Getting it off of Amazon and putting it in the software takes a whole 15 seconds.

I would rather one stage than two

I think the main issue people have with this is the whole process of saving the album art, navigating to it, instead of the old software's easy copy/paste option.

What you describe is not pasting. It requires you to have the art in a file on your PC. I often will just hit Amazon or some other site, copy the album art displayed and paste it directly on the image in the Zune software. This was a very happy discovery and something unique on Zune -- and remarkably convenient. Can you get the art you want into the program? Yes, but the unique, cool, easy, and convenient method that used to work doesn't now. Taking that feature away seems just plain stupid. In many ways, this version 2 is more like version .5.

re: To end a problem: YOU CAN PASTE ALBUM ART!
It really depends on how you organize your mp3s. If I didn't have a problem ripping CDs, this wouldn't concern me because I keep all of my Zune audio separate from my iTunes/listening audio. The drag and drop feature made fixing any potential issues with ripping easy as hell as well. I listen to alot of imported and independent music, and 9 times out of 10 CDDB doesn't have artwork for those CDs, requiring me to scan it myself.

Drag and Drop is a feature I'd DEFINITELY love to have back.

Thank you. Some people are missing that point. I don't want a separate folder taking up space.

Itunes software fixed my Zune software library........nice.

And also completely unnecessary, given that the prior version of the software had a clearly superior way of accomplishing the same result.  The same can be said for many of the "enhancements" in this "upgrade".

Two steps forward, three steps back.
