Couldn't think of where else to post this, so move if necessary. So I'm seeing a few XNA Games/announcements postings in different
sub-fourms. Its awesome that theres a lot of support behind it. Also
people are encountering errors as well and that necessitates focused
community support. This leads me to my question: Do you think we should
ask for an XNA/Zune Games sub-forum? I also have a few follow up
questions:
- Have we earned it? / Will we use it?
- Would people post games to it?
- Are there any XNA developers who are regulars on Zune.net and are willing to debug potential errors and answer questions?
I got the idea after reading this wish list post a while back (
link).
Jetherealz seems to be on board, if there's interest. One thing I also got from
the thread is that there is already an XNA development site with forums
(
link). Your LiveID works there as
well, you just have to register. One thing, they don't have is a
Zune-specific sub-forum (well there isn't an Xbox one either). However
there are people posting Zune related XNA problems already and we could simply direct all XNA related problems over to them.
Another thing brought up in the thread, if we do have an XNA forum here
there is a possibility of splitting development talents between the two
sites (and any others you may already be apart of). I know I'd hate to
check muliple forums if I didn't necessarily have to. However, ZuneBoards,
Zunerama, DarkZune (those were the ones I checked) already have a Games
forum. So shouldn't we?
