Looking for the Grown & Sexy Music
I'm looking for some new, hot R&B/Neo-Soul albums.  What are you listening to right now?  I'm a little tired of the "Radio-Play" R&B right now. I'm looking for that Artist that you have to know his/her momma to even know about them.  :)  I just downloaded Algebra Blessett and she was a plesant surprise. I heard of her a while back, but didnt realize her album had come out.

The album doesn't have to be new... put me on to something different....

I have been listening to Ledisi...She has been a round for a few years, but just started really listening to her...I can assure you, you will not be disappointed...Check out my card. I listen to a WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE variety of music, so pick and choose.

If your looking for something new and hot in neo soul you have to check out raheem devaughn love behind the melody.  Also you can check out Corinne Bailey Rae its not exactly neo soul but it is grown and sexy. Hil st. soul is another one to look into.

Toni. I LOVE Toni B. Libra was pure fire that is slept on and so is Between Friend from Tamia. I love those albums.

Itunes software fixed my Zune software library........nice.

If you're looking for the classic grown and sexy, I'd go for some Luther Vandross or Gerald Levert...

If you're looking for some more current music, listen to Jill Scott (past and present)

There are too many to name in one post, so I just put up names I didn't think I saw in previous posts.

I agree with the prior post, though. Neo Soul and Old School forums are filled with artists you'd love to listen to...

Grown & sexy music old school would be Al Green, Al Jarreau, Chaka Khan, Teddy Pendergrass, Issac Hayes during the Black Moses era, Marvin Gaye during the 70s,

 

New school grown and sexy music Maxwell, Jill Scott, Floewtry, Musiq Soulchild, Vivian Green and Alice Smith just to name a few.

 

On the Jazz tip check out Miles Daqvis or John Coltrane-new school Terence Blachard or Branford Marsalis
