How to put games on Zune/List of games

Three ways on how to put game on you zune...

1) A video by Microsoft Academic Developer Evangelist Dan Waters where he demos what is required and how to deploy an XNA game to your Zune. Also check out a pong like game he provides for download which you can deploy it on our Zune. Thanks Dan !

2) Go to zuneboards.com ---> "How to Install Games on Your Zune"

3) Read this post

1. First download Visual Studio C# Express
http://blogs.msdn.com/xna/archive/2008/05/07/announcing-xna-game-studio-3-0-community-technical-preview-ctp.aspx

2. Then download XNA Game Studio 3.0 at the same link above

3. Install Visual Studio C#. This took my computer (This will take a while)

4. Install XNA Game Studio 3.0

5. Once you have set that up, open Visual Studio C#. It will begin to boot for the first time, so it will take a few minutes.

6. Download games

7. Extract the games onto the desktop or where ever you want to place the files

8. Once Visual Studio C# opens, go "Open Project" on the left hand side of the software box.

9. Find the place where you extracted the games you downloaded, and click it.

10. Then click on the folder the file is contained in. You will see 3 files. Click on "ZUNE"

11. Now connect your zune, and make sure to close the software

12. This will make the Visual Studio C# open it. Once you have done that, ( and you see the name of game) on the left side panel of the software box, click the tab on the top "Build"

13. Then click on "Deploy "Name of Game" ZUNE (it may only say [Deploy "Name of Game"])

14. A box will apear on the bottom of the software. This will begin uploading the games onto the zune.

15 . Then unplug your zune once it is finished uploading and enjoy your zune games!

Hands down I would say that second tetris game is really the best game for zune so far. The game play is really smooth, real nice. And they guy that made it keeps adding updates to it to make it better.

Ok I'll check it out. Currently both Visual & XNA are installing so I'll do this all in the morn. But I'm sure I'll enjoy playing old-school pong while I listen 2 Lupe haha

Haha it worked. Well sorta. I had a few problems but I figured it out

I had to sync my zune with XNA Games Studio Device Center. It wasn't automatic. However soon as I opened the applet, it did it all for me. So that was nice
S1R TET required a new font 'SEGOE UI'. I downloaded a vista-set that had a SEGOE but it wasn't the same one. And I don't feel like risking a virus through torrents to find the font at the moment, so maybe I'll get that game some other time.

But other than that, it works. I have pong, alien aggressor... and about to deploy Breakout!

Its given to you w/ the game. copy the segoeui.ttf and segoeuib.ttf files to C:\WINDOWS\Fonts

SIR TET is the best game by far. Looks like a lot more work went into as well. Is there any way to stop the zune from restarting after I exit the game?
