R.E.M. "Live at the Olympia" in Dublin. I am a major R.E.M. fan, and love, love, love this live album. Anyone who was a fan of R.E.M.'s early stuff (80s) needs to listen to this (and anybody else who is curious). It was recorded over 5 days in 2007 which were actually a rehersal to try out new songs before they even decided to put them on their 2008 "Accelerate" album (two of them didn't make it). But the great majority of the songs were their very early work (which was an "olive branch" to the crowd so they'd listen to the new stuff. I can't quit listening, it doesn't get old no matter how much I listen to it. Highly, highly recommend it.
It actually came out two weeks ago (and is available on Zune Pass) but there was really no advertising (don't remember seeing it in the "New Music" section, so I guess word of mouth needs to get out. It wasn't even in the Best Buy circular as new music when it came out. What a bummer.
