The Rentals (actually just Matt Sharp) remix is better than the original. I didn't like the White Stripes version.
To add a song - Nina Gordon doing "18 & Life" is better than the already great original.
vanilla fudge's cover of the supremes "you keep me hanging on
yes' cover of simon andgarfunkel's "america"
both awesome in my opinion
Firth of exiles, from the villa close to the supertwister in a glass locomotive, eclipse my moonbeams!
Quiet Riot's version of "*** On Feel The Noize" was better than the original (Slade) version.
I'm a big fan of Janis Joplin and there are 2 songs she perfected- Piece of My Heart by Emma Franklin and Me & Bobby McGee by Kris Kristoferson.

It is very difficult to keep ones head from imploding from such madness. So is it a problem with the organization of my paragraph, or are you just a Led Zeppelin fan? Either way, you are certainly entitled to your opinion. I enjoyed the performance, and liked it better than the original, despite being a Led Zeppelin fan myself.I'll be a little more clear, I suppose.I'm not trying to correct your grammar. That'd be a little silly. What I was trying to say is that, even though I've never seen any of alt./folk rock musician, Shara Worden's, live shows, I find it hard to believe that she could top a past Led Zeppelin performance of their own song (Is this a run on? I think I'm misusing commas. Ugh!).Also, I'm a casual Zeppelin listener at best, but I can't deny that they are frick-frackin' awesome. Now, I'm going to indulge myself in a random Swans album... Who did do a a tasty cover of Joy Division's awesome (yet highly overrated) song, Love Will Tear Us Apart... If anybody feels like checkin' that ***-nazz out.

Actually, Frank Zappa's Stairway cover was quite a bit better than the original. It's Frank Zappa though.
