The ones I love are Juno, Moulin Rouge, A Knight's Tale, and Garden State. Disney movie soundtracks have always been major favourites, too. And 80s movies always have some great music. :3

For score I'd have to say Braveheart (I know sacrilege...), and for compilation soundtrack, my favorite has always been The Crow.

Wow...I can't believe I didn't run up on this thread sooner...I just read through it and everybody got some great picks, some of those soundtracks took me back. Here are some I didn't see.

The Wackness...mid 90s hip-hop scene in NYC, come on now

Shaft...the original, Isaac Hayes is a beast

Krush Groove...Run DMC, the Fat Boys, Shelia E, Kurtis Blow, you name it, the best of 80s hip hop layed it down

Wild Style...any rap legend not on Krush Groove was on there

Menace II Society...west coast at it's finest

High Fidelity...if you love vinyl, you love the soundtrack, it had some dopeness

mmmmm...its kinda of hard to just say one so imma go with my top 5! ^o^!

1. practically anything Hans Zimmer (gladiator, and dark knight are my favorites)

2. the Disney soundtracks (admit it they were sooo cool...Aladdin, the Lion King, Mary Poppins...lol)

3. the Grease soundtrack (i know...so chessy but u secretly love it)

4. the Junno soundtrack (its soooo cute!)

5. and last but not least....KILL BILL (soooo bad ass!)

Haven't listen to that many soundtracks but Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai always come to mind.
