re: Zune HD firmware 4.3!

Hmmm then try to reinstall the zune software, or try forget this zune and then incorporate it back into your software.

ive tried that as well and still to no avail....could the update be released by certain regions first?

I tryed reinstaling the zune firmware and again no luck. :( Did MS all of a sudden forget us 16gb users or something. It is starting to make me mad that i can't get the update. Do you think if i called in to them they could help me fix it?

i have a 16 gig and i looked for the update 6 times

This build seems to solve another issue as well. With the 4.1, the only earphones that seemed to work all the time, was the provided earphones. All other headphones/earphones seemed to cause the player to stop playing when something was moving the cable.

With this build, I seem to be able to use other earphones/headphones correctly. No amount of jiggling the cord, seems to stop the player anymore.

 

Don't recall ever having this issue, but glad it seems to be fixed for you. You sure it wasn't just the headphones you were using?

Maybe the Zune was more sensitive to some headphones than others.

I still don't have the 4.3 update.  I've tried everything on this thread.  I guess I have an oddball Zune HD or something.

Just tried the update method described earlier in the thread, does not work, it updates to 4.1. The headphone issue is with your headphones. I wear special headphones due to my hearing loss, and they work fine. You'll need to check the connections inside of your headphones. They are probably old and frayed.

I have the update and didn't even know it was available, I just upgraded my pc to windows 7 RTM and had to setup all the software again and when I connected the my Zune HD 32 it told me an update was available so I came here to look what the fuss was as it also says optional. So is this the November update then or is there more to come? Not only are the plays fixed but its displaying the correct artist now as well which is fantastic because it was listing all these bands I didn't have in my collection nor would listen to.

Awesome news perhaps that means the new apps aren't far behind the firmware update!  Thanks guys.

I have a 16GB HD and I too can only update to 4.1 after following the info in these posts.  I wonder what is up with that.

Now I can Access the online email at my school. Also there is a choice under  the internet tab in settings: Content.t seems to let you preset the mobile or desktop webpages as default.

Thanks now I can check if my class is canceled now, Thanks guys.
