I would have to say Any of the John Hughes Movie Soundtracks.  Pretty in Pink, 16 Candles, Breakfast Club and the like.

"Ever"?  Hmmm...  but a kinda pretty great one was Pump Up the Volume--it's like a little early 90s time capsule.

I have to go with the soundtrack from "Invincible"! Some really great tunes there.

The best movie soundtrack ever is The Bodyguard: Original Soundtrack Album and the 40 best selling albums of all time list proves it.  In fact it is  the only sountrack album that is in the top 40 best selling albums of all time and is currently number 10. This makes me proud to own this soundtrack album and to be honest the Bodyguard sountrack is what put Whitney Houston on the map and truly gave her worldwide recognition. I will always love you was a classic soundtrack single song.

The best movie soundtrack ever is The Bodyguard: Original Soundtrack Album and the 40 best selling albums of all time list proves it.  In fact it is  the only soundtrack album that is in the top 40 best selling albums of all time and is currently number 10. This makes me proud to own this soundtrack album and to be honest the Bodyguard soundtrack is what put Whitney Houston on the map and truly gave her worldwide recognition. I will always love you is still a classic soundtrack single song. That song alone and Whitney Houston's musical performances in the movie is what sold this soundtrack album and why it is still selling today.

I really like the soundtrack to Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightly, Cadillac Records, Hairspray, The Last of the Mohicans, Dreamgirls, and The Fighting Temptations just to name a few.

My favorite movie soundtrack is from the "Blues Brothers", but a surprisingly good one is "Joe Dirt".

This isn't a movie soundtrack but I would have to say the "House MD Soundtrack"...I like this soundtrack do to the great varity of not overplayed excelent songs with an up-beat.

The soundtrack to Across the Universe was amazing!  Some of the songs were better than the original Beatles versions, which is pretty hard to do.

The music to "Master And Commander" is amazing. The movie itself is great too.

 

....Also "The Patriot" has a nice soundtrack.
