Oh I get it now =P, thanks. Was there ever an option to add a password or "pin" to your Zune. I barely noticed it now.

zune platinum 32gb, updated few mins after midnight. it always timesout to now playing now plus my wireless is now working w00t!
the scrolling album art appears to be larger as well

It's after midnight here.  Still no update to 4.3 for me and my Zune HD 16GB.  I really wanted to try it out tonight.

Just got mine updated and running. doesnt seem all that different, lags a bit now when moving through music but i love the new keyboard.

BOO YAHHH 16GBers i got it to work now. Your welcome lol...

First, it is 2:27AM and it still said 4.1 was up to date. So this is what i did to get it working and not loosing content...

1.) Unplug zune from USB, and closed Zune Software.

2.) Held the Power Button and the media button (media button is the button on the upper left side that brings up the volume). You hold this for 15 sec, count them out because the first 2 times i did this as soon as my zune shut down i let go of buttons and nothing happened. So just hold them till it says sync with computer.

3.) once that screen pops up, plug the zune into ur pc and the software will open up and right away say update to 4.3! If it doesn't open then start the software manually.

Well since we got the update i bet we can guarantee the new apps and games are gonna be out soon. Did microsoft already confirm the new apps and games to be free with ad's?

More than anything, I am thrilled the play count bug has been squashed. . . thanks guys.

Edit: As a side note, it initially told me I was up to date with 4.1.  I hit "OK" to close out of the settings, then reopened and ran the device update check again. Second time around, it decided I was not, in fact, up to date.

So your telling me after that, that as soon as you reconnected your zune the software opened up and said update to 4.1?

Hmmm then try to reinstall the zune software, or try forget this zune and then incorporate it back into your software.

Thank you for this. I am confirming this indeed works. I did this process on 11/6 around 10 pm. I was going to bed and thought I should give this another shot. After plugging it in, it said I needed to update to 4.3. Its 12 51 pm 11/7.

Again I confirm it works on the 16gb Zune HD.
