Please help me, everytime i reboot then try to reformat, i plug in to my laptop, then it says installing driver software, so i click locate and install, then boom says it found my driver software for my device but cant install it, also says service cannot be started because its disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.

But on my girlfreinds laptop everything works fine.

I DONT UNDERSTAND THIS!!!

For some reason my says on the zune software that it is not connected but it is. 

I find it real pathetic that a leading company in electronics is crapping on their own customers and not coming up with a fix.  After all it was their update that caused all this.

I am going to be contacting the BBB.

I completely agree..  I update to the latest version of zune software for my zune 30 and now i can't sync at all.  It takes forever just to update the latest files on the zune, and I can't even drag albums on manually... I don't think I'll ever by another zune if M$ doesn't fix this *** soon...

EDIT: I may have found a retarded solution if your zune software won't sync properly.   When you drag your desired media from your collection page, don't do anything else with the software until the small zune icon says it's finished.  Whenever I clicked on the sync page to view the progress, the sync would stop and I would get very pissed.

How come ever since i updated the zune software my zune 30 doesnt connect anymore it always says "No zune connected" when my zune is connected. There was no problem until I updated the software and now I can't even put music on it, does anybody know whats going on??

The skipping and freezing up just seems to be getting worse. This all started after updating to V 3.0 .

Got worse after the V 3.2 update.

Does anybody know of a fix before I trash this thing and BUY AN I POD?

Just got off the phone with ZUNE support.

I found out just like the Vista OS, were all screwed. the only fix is to buy a new one (80gig) at a reduced price 159.00.  My Zune is only 15 months old. Now it's a paper weight, That SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!    Apple products are sounding better all the time.

Freezing followed by a reboot indicates a serious error that the device could not recover from.  Prior to 4.0, reinstalling the firmware once or at most twice should've fixed it, as it would reformat the drive as well as 'fix' any firmware corruption.  After that if it continues it suggests a real hardware failure- most likely the hard disk.  After upgrading to 4.0 (actually 3.2 device firmware...) it appears that there is some sort of bug that causes freezes when playing AAC format files.  So, the earlier advice still applies, but if you see freezing and can associate it with AAC files, that is probably your real issue.

I have nad nothing but problems with my Zune.  My computer will not recognize it, I have followed all the instructions, I give up.  I am going down and buying an IPod tonight.

Hi, I have a 80 GB zune, It shows "connect Zune to PC"  so I have and tried to update it to fix it but it gives me a C00124F error Every time I connect. I have tried what seems like every possible solution to restart and clear all my contents off of my Zune, even letting it die and charging it up to try again but the error wont go away and my zune just keeps showing "connect Zune to PC". I installed the new update from Zune to my PC and Zune before all this. What do I do?

We have had nothing but problems with our zune 120s since 4.0. My sisters zune will not sync and mine does but slowly. She has 3.2 and I have 3.1 because I declined 3.2.

Msoft needs to let us folks with previous zunes  be able to go back to the software that worked... let the new hd folks have the ram hog version.

All we want to do here is synch our zunes and use our zune passes again. That really is not asking for much.

 

Just fix it because too many folks are having problems synching their zunes.
