I think it will be the 10th. Didn't MS say that they would be putting them out in the first half of the month right?

idk, i dont think i recall that. It would be great though. it just makes more sense that they would put them out on the same day they release the 360 updates. downloading the new zhd software now though. what did they change?

Hey, I want to know if they are going to come out with a free texting app like the ipod touch because i want to buy an HD because I already have a zune and love it. But Ipod touches are cheaper and have more available. I'm totally sold if they have a texting app.  Will you guys let me know and keep me in touch with what's going on?

no, they do not have an app like that already. the app that you are talking about is only through the iPod jailbrake. and the ZHD is cheeper than the touch

What're you guys talking about? Do I have to download this from the zune software or is there a link you could give me? When I check for updates for both the device and the software, it says they're up-to-date with 4.1.
Also, I hope there will be at least a couple dozen apps on the zune HD by the end of november

connect your zune, let it fully sync and then let it sit for a few minutes, it should automatically find the update and sync it. thats all i did.

Its called Google Voice :)

google.com/voice/m in your Zune browser. Works like a charm!!
