re: "help me fall asleep" music
Didn't expect it, but the Pink Floyd album "Division Bell" became my default 'go to sleep' music for about two years.

However, I did just stumble upon the album Isabliss by Amethystium <-- never heard of these folks, but it's definitely soothing. lol [thanks Smart DJ!!]

Some artists that seem to help me drift off are The Who, Pink Floyd, Syd Barrett, Portishead, Stone Temple Pilots, The Beatles, Bob Marley, Frank Sinatra, The Rat Pack, 'Direction' by Lions Lions, Madlib, also a lot of different hip hop instrumentals and sometimes some accoustic songs.

For whaever reason, the R&B songs on my HD are more relaxing than usual... Brenda Russell's Piano in the Dark does the trick for me...
