re: j-pop, j-rock

Reading through the pages of this thread made me realize i still have many artists to listen to. Anyway i noticed someone mention Kpop back there and wanted to input my 2 cents.

Lee, Seung Gi is a really good Kpopper and i fell in love with his song nae yojalanikka. Beautiful piano and strong vocals.

re: j-pop, j-rock
I just got my Zune and was disappointed there was hardly any Jrock or pop. I have started to put all my cds in my collection but it takes forever.  As for suggestions I like Plastic Tree. I have been adding that to my collection and having a lot of trouble with the titles and covers.  I will keep looking around for suggestions from other people too! If any one knows the best places to buy the music too (digital) that would be great to know!

re: j-pop, j-rock

I don't know about digital music, but CDJAPAN is really good for CDs. I ordered 4 Rentrer En Soi CDs last week and they came today. From JAPAN! that's really fast.

Anyway, I'm off to listen to my new CDs.

Its too bad they don't have a  chat type thing (or a regular fourm) on zune social  where everyone who likes this type of music can come together to discuss on a regular basis, introduce new music and make friends.

re: j-pop, j-rock
A good J-rock/pop forum is Batsu (http://www.batsu.org) you find out about great new bands and existing bands. Also you find out if they are having a tour in your area. I've been on there for a while.

J-Rap is okay, not my style, but I give it a try every now and then

CdJapan is a great place to get cds, better than going to a record store and importing it, they'll charge you a bunch of fees, I found out the hard way. U_U
