God they are absolutely GARBAGE! Back in the mid 90's when "Fat of the Land" came out they were the *** and it was blowing people away. I just heard his (since its really just Liam Howlett now) new Prodigy album and it *** blows so bad. The guests are terrible...the beats are all the same with each track and the melodies *** suck. I have no hopes for this group anymore....

Now my favorite electrionic "band"....would probably be..I dont know its hard to choose. The Future Sound of London were absolutely incredable back in the days of Dead Cities and Lifeforms. Autechre is probably the most abstract, thought-provocing music I've ever heard. There are so many more that I could recommend but those are the first two that come to mind. But those are "bands" as you would say....thats not me thinking about my favorite "artists" in general which would probably go to John Digweed, Sasha or James Zabiela.

Yes, FSOL! Papa New Guinea! I just got done converting some of my old early 90's stuff from CD and ran across my FSOL. How about Delerium - Semantic Spaces?

As for favorite electronic 'bands'... More like artists... I have been listening to more techno artists lately like Matthew Dear, Sebastian Leger, Luciano.

"Electronic Music has been stuck in my mind since 1990."

Hardfloor  - Back Once again...

Carl Cox - The Mission

Bad Company - UK DnB (Anything they produce)

DJ Micro

DJ Icey

PsychoTrance Series was good.

Hardfloor is the best for me though. Pretty much anything they do.

i agree that new album sounds the same as fat of the land, but i recently heard a album from prodigy called Dirtchamber Sessions Vol.1 and since i  have some B-Boy in me i really liked it. Its a non-stop mix of old school stuff, its pretty cool they way mix hip-hop with rock and make it sound electro sort of, you should check it out if you already haven't. But once again im not sure if that would be concedered the electronic band since i think that it was by they're PA guy. But it does have the name Prodigy on it, soo..... yeah check it out.

Oh yeah and fave electronic band would have to be Hybrid they're truly amazing!

EVERYBODY LOVES GOOD MUSIC!!!!

I honestly don't understand the appeal of Paul Oakenfold. Maybe it's just me.
