re: What classical music do you have on your Zune?
I have some Beethoven, Strauss, Tchaikovsky and such.  I just got Hilary Hahn's record of Bach Partitas for solo violin.  It's lovely.  I also have some classical guitar from John Williams.

My Zune's classical collection is limited to Beethoven and Mozart right now, but I make extensive use of the oh-so-awesome radio tuner to make up for that lack.

I think you should have "The Planets". Wink [;)]

The snippets they have on their Social listing have me hooked. Thanks! And, a very appropriate suggestion given my picture. Geeked [8-|]

Sorry, but what I meant was Holst's "The planet".

Oh! I've just found another album with wrong information, I think.
(I have the above album or more likely the older version of it, but the Zune software rewrote the information.)

Every Hilary Hahn album; All Julia Fischer albums except the bach sonatas and suites; All of Mahlers symphonies, most of them with Claudio Abbado and the Berlin Philharmonic; Every Alla Pavlova album released on Naxos; several Hans Lumbye albums, Haydn, Mozart, Bach, Boccarini, Beethoven, Korngold, Mendelssohn and pretty much a little of everything. re: What classical music do you have on your Zune?

I don't have much on the ol' Zune at the moment, but that's because I don't have that much, either. Let's take a look-see:

-Verdi's Requiem by Robert Shaw & his bunch from Atlanta. I only like the choral parts because that's what I had to sing; wasn't a soloist so I don't really care about them. Wink [;)] Hooray for dies irae!

-A lousy recording of The Planets by Geoffrey Simon and the London Symphony Orchestra that had a low recording volume, so it's hard to hear at times. I need a better one; does anyone have any recommendations? A good and bombastic Mars will go a long way.

-A compilation of several pieces by Jean Sibelius, including The Swan of Tuonela, Valse Triste, Finlandia, and some others; it's a pretty good one.

I've also got a lot by various motion picture score composers, so if they count, there's always guys like James Horner, Basil Poledouris, and the like.

re: What classical music do you have on your Zune?
I bought my Zunes when the largest they had was 30 GB.  I have two for just classical music and another for rock/alternative etc.  I use a lossless format for optimal sound quality.  I'm probably going to go for the 120 GB just for my classical music and give my 30gb to my kids.

I have
Bach -- Unaccompanied violin, violin concertos, cello suites, organ...
Brahms -- The symphonies, the piano concertos, the violin concertos/sonatas, Requiem
Beethoven -- The symphonies
Mozart -- Requiem, piano concertos, a couple of symphonies
Howard Hanson -- Symphonies
Shostakovitch -- Symphonies
Mahler -- Symphonies
Khachaturian -- Violin and piano
Prokofiev -- Romeo and Juliet, Piano Concertos, Lieutenant Kiji
The great violin concertos and major repertoire
The great cello concertos and solo repertoire
The great piano concertos and solo repertoire
Gershwin
The War Horses:  March Slave, Capriccio Espagnol, Capriccio Italien, 1812 Overture
John Williams

I probably have more but that's all I can think of right now...

For those who have Vivaldi's Four Seasons (Le Quattro Staggioni), check out the version by Il Giardino Armonico. It's a really nice interpretation done on period instruments.
