Arctic Monkeys are highly overrated, but I don't care.  I still love their music. =)

I love Frank Sinatra but I can never understood what made him so wonderful. People always say, "He's Frank." Uhhh - okay?? AND??  *ducking and hiding behind a wall*

I have some of my wife's music mixed in with mine, and listen to it from time to time.  And I will admit I never listened to any country before I met her, so I don't really get the whole genre, but Carrie Underwood seems to be extremely overrated.  I guess I just don't get how she keeps getting all these "entertainer of the year" type awards.

you do know how they actually sound in performances? half of their songs are edited VERY VERY much. don't trust everything you hear, especially them. i used to be fanatic about them.

right now, i'd have to say My Chemical Romance - i have every album, every song, every soundtrack (only one, remake of Desolation Row).

Not going to lie, I have The Beatles on my Zune, when I really shouldn't. I kind of grew out of them when I was....15?

I'd say Rick Ross, I think he's pretty bad but I admit it sounds good when you play it loud.

I'm fighring back the urge to argue about the Grateful Dead being over-rated. Definetely have to see them live to appretiate it and Greatest Hits never really do them any justice, but each to their own.

I've got the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Wu-Tang Clan, and a roadrunner records cd that has Machine Head, Dragonforce, Job For A Cowboy, God Forbid, Bullet For My Vallentine, All That Remains and Killswitch Engage, all of whom are overrated IMO.

If I have them, they're not too overrated. It matters not what anyone else thinks. My problem is that there is stuff I don't listen to enough! I have a little too much, and several complete albums.
