Lullacry, their just not as heavy as some of the others, but still pretty damn good!

I hope this doesn't sound sexist, but I just can't stand female vocalists. I mean, yeah, they're hot, but female vocals don't really accompany the brutal music, you know? The only female-fronted band I don't mind is Walls of Jericho and that's because I had no idea the vocalist was female until the acoustic track...

But, yeah, they're hot. Haha.

The only Metal Female band on my zune is Kittie, they're pretty good.

No it's not sexist. My sister is the same way, though she's getting into Nightwish a little, but she doesn't care for female fronted bands like I don't care for male fronted bands.

Arch Enemy and Lacuna Coil are really good if u ask me. Just gotta be in the right mood i guess. Speaking of Lacuna Coil, why is their new album not in the search database. I hate assigning album art!!!

i had the misfortune of seeing  otep live a few months ago, their music isnt bad, but live, they aretrly the worst band i have ever seen live, the played a 2 hour set that consisted of 7 or 8 songs, the majority of their set was the singer ranting and raving on stage in some sort of drug enduced hallucinaton. The only thing that was redeming of that concert was all he other bands that played, even the local openers were better than the headlining otep...

on a positive note someone mentioned the agonist, and that chick and fuckin SCREAM shes brutal truly does her brand of metal justice, along with arch enemy which is another band that puts on an insane live show.

in this moment is another great female fronted metal band

i personally think the best female fronted band is walls of jericho, candice puts EVERYTHING she has into her singing, and its just mind blowing the kind of energy they show on stage!

A band i really like is neviah nevi, even though not too many people know about them.

i also really like bloodlined calligraphy

I like the agonist the most out of the female fronted metal band. If you've ever heard of Iwrestledabearonce, their female vox can hit lows, deeper and scarier than most guys, but her clean vocals are just plain old bad, or badly recorded. I tend to think that female vox are made or broken live; switching back from screaming to singing is really taxing and makes intonation hard, so sometimes when the girl trys to go into the chorus shes way out of key. I'm biased against walls of jericho, as i saw them at new england metal and hardcore fest where they played a bad show; totally disjunct and out of key, out of tune, the works.
